I’ve had about every kind of supper club, and each model has its pros and cons. But the creative freedom of building one where the mailing list is based on your peers, creatives in their own right, where the price of admission, (a bottle of wine), actively enhances the meal so far feels boundless. And with that in mind, these past few menus are about testing, trying out things that normally would feel too much of a risk when there is a monetary transaction.
